HDP Women'sAssembly: Keeping guard on graves deemed proper for Kurdish mothers 2020-05-10 12:35:45 ANKARA - HDP Women's Assembly stated that the Mother's Day is welcomed as the “hypocrite" policies of the government continues.  “The AKP-MHP deems it proper for the Kurdish mothers to keep guard on the tombstone of the graves of their children and send the deceased bodies of their children with cargo posts", announced the Women's Assembly.   Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Women's Assembly declared a written statement due to the Mother's Day. In the statement it was emphasized that it is the the mothers who suffer the worst pains throughout this geography as some mother are in search for the bones of their children as some of them receives the bones of their children with the cargo packages that the Turkish state deems the deceased bodies proper to send via post.   HYPOCRITE POLICIES   HDP Women's Assembly announced as follow via their statement, "Some of the mothers lost their children in Suruç, in Ankara, in Diyarbakır, in Gezi Protests and some of the mothers kept guard on the graves of their children just to save the graves of their kids from the attacks, some of the mother lost their children in mines, in factories, in workplace homicides, some of the mothers lost their children because their children wanted to sing their songs freely.   Misogynous AKP-MHP alliance propogandates kids buying gifts for their mothers for the Mother's Day on one hand and deems it proper for the Kurdish mothers to keep guard on the tombstone of the graves of their children and send the deceased bodies of their children with cargo posts, on the other.   The government, who rises their politics on the discourse of the 'holy motherhood' exploits the woman labour via patriarchal capitalism. However, they should know that, our best gift to the mothers, who do not give up on the struggle regardless of all the pain they endure, is a country to be lived freely."
