Turkey’s coronavirus cases exceed 174,000

	NEWS CENTER - 17 more people have died of coronavirus in Turkey. The death toll rose to 4,763 and the total number of confirmed cases to 174,023.

	 

	Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca announced the latest figures of coronavirus epidemic in the country on Thursday.

	 

	Accordingly, 17 people have died of Covid-19 and 987 people have been confirmed infected during the past 24 hours. The death toll rose to 4,763 and the total number of confirmed cases to 174,023.

	 

	According to official figures, 2,500,890 people have been tested in Turkey so far. The minister said that 85% of those infected have recovered so far. On the other hand, 643 people are in intensive care and 266 intubated.
