Dersim mayor tests positive for coronavirus

DERSİM - Maçoğlu has said that his treatment has started.
 
Dersim Mayor Fatih Mehmet Maçoğlu has announced that he tested positive for coronavirus.
 
He said in a tweet that he went to the hospital after having a sore throat and fever and the test showed that he had Covid-19. He added that his symptoms began afte returning fro Erzincan city yesterday morning (June 22).
 
His treatment has started at Tunceli State Hospital, he said. Meanwhile, contact tracing teams have also begun working to identify and test those who have contacted Maçoğlu recently.
 
"I don't know from from I have contracted the virus. But I have been to quite a few funerals over the past few days," he said
