Vedat Dağ, HDP Amed Provincial Organization Press Consultant, had been called to Diyarbakır Political Branch on Thursday evening. He went and was taken into custody.
Dozens of police raided the house of Dağ. His wife said the search last for hours. She was at home with three children.
The reason for his detention was not immediately clear.
