ANKARA- Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which conducts the investigation after the detentions against the HDP regarding the Kobanê protests, announced that summaries will be prepared for 7 deputies within the scope of the investigation.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office made a statement regarding the investigation launched into Kobanê protests on 6-8 October 2014.
While the Chief Prosecutor's Office announced that 20 people have been detained so far, summaries will be prepared for 7 people who are still MPs.
In the statement made by the Chief Prosecutor's Office, the following statements were used: "Summaries will be prepared for the (7) person who are members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (MYK) and who are understood to be deputies of the People's Democratic Party at the time of the incident, requesting the lifting of their parliamentary immunity within the scope of the same investigation pursuant to Article 83 of the Constitution."
