Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) District Co-chairs Abdullah Ekelik and Gönül Öztürk, who were detained in house raids in Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı, were released by the court. The co-chairs, who were taken to the courthouse after their being processed at the District Police Department, were referred to the Criminal Court of Peace on Duty by the prosecutor with a request for judicial control. The court released the co-chairs on condition of judicial control after hearing their statements.

 

After the house raids, many banners, posters and official documents were confiscated in the HDP District Organization building, where the door was broken and the building was raided.
