İSTANBUL - The chair of the United Revolutionary Party, lawyer Sinan Varlık, has been remanded in custody.
The chair of the United Revolutionary Party, Sinan Varlık, who was taken into custody following a police raid on his house in Istanbul on 6 November, has been remanded in custody.
The United Revolutionary Party announced on its social media accounts that lawyer Varlık was remanded in custody and added: “We will answer to those who want to force our party and revolutionaries to their knees with conspiracy operations. Our chair and lawyer Sinan Varlık has been jailed.”
