Hunger strike leaves behind a month

NEWS CENTER - Prisoners entered the 30th day of hunger strike against isolation and violations of their rights.

 
PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues to be kept in total isolation. Political prisoners in Turkey have launched an indefinite and rotating hunger strike to demand the end of isolation as well as the end of violations in prison. 
 
The hunger strike is being carried out by the 6th group of prisoners and has entered its 30th day. 
 
In addition to sending messages of determination, the prisoners reiterate their appeal to the people to support their action.
 
The authorities in prisons and the Ministry of Justice, far from meeting the demands of the prisoners, imposed on them punishments for their democratic action.
 
POLITICIANS PARTICIPATED IN THE HUNGER STRIKE ACTION
 
Politicians such as former Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-chair Sabahat Tuncel being held in Kocaeli Kandıra No 1 Type F Prison, HDP former MP Çağlar Demirel and Dersim Municipality former Mayor Nurhayat Altun joined the rotating hunger strike in groups of 5.
