DİYARBAKIR - The council fee of the police officer Yakup Ş. who shot and killed Kemal Kurkut will be paid by the Ministry of Justice.
It was revealed that the council fee of police officer Yakup Ş. who was acquitted from the case in which he was tried for the murder of university student Kemal Kurkut in the Newrox celebrations held in Diyarbakır will be paid by the Ministry of Justice. Police officer Yakup Ş who was appointed at Bursa Security Directorate, applied to the General Directorate of Security for his council fee to be paid in line with the Law no 2559 Law on Police Powers.
Bursa Security Directorate informed the Ministry of Interior about the application. With the completion of the process, the council fee of the police Yakup Ş. will be paid from the budget of the General Directorate of Security under the Ministry of Interior.
