No response to 'urgent communication' application for Imrali

İSTANBUL -  There have been no response yet to the urgent application of the lawyers of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Justice. 

PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's lawyers Mazlum Dinç, Raziye Öztürk, İbrahim Bilmez and Nevroz Uysal submitted an urgent application to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Justice yesterday regarding the allegations shared about their client from some anonymous social media accounts. So far, there has been neither a positive nor a negative response to the application for the families and the lawyers to urgently visiting İmralı.
 
Rezan Sarıca and Nevroz Uysal, two of Öcalan's lawyers, were able to meet with their clients after 8 years on 2-22 May, 12-18 June and 7 August 2019.
 
Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office imposed a 6-month lawyer visitation ban on September 23, on the grounds of the "Road Map" prepared in addition to Öcalan's defense sent to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in 2009.
