Gergerlioğlu: We are right, we will resist, we will succeed

ANKARA – Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu, who made a statement at his party headquarters where he is continuing the 'Justice Watch', said: "We continued our resistance, we were right. Therefore, we were very strong. We knew we would win."

 
HDP member Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu, who was dismissed as an MP, made statements at the Headquarters of his party where he continues the 'Justice Watch'. HDP MPs, Education and Science Workers' Union (Eğitim-Sen) Chairperson Necla Kurul, Revolutionary Party Chair Elif Torun participated the press release.
 
Stating that it is on the 15th day of the Justice Watch, Gergerlioğlu gave information about the process. Gergerlioğlu said: "As you know, after the unlawful removal of my representation in the Parliament, I started a justice watch. I demonstrated a civil resistance."
 
WE RESISTED TOGETHER
 
Stating that he carried out a successful civil resistance Gergerlioğlu said: "We have carried out civil resistance that gave a powerful message to Turkey and to international public opinion. We gave a message in Turkish and Kurdish. It was a message was supported by the whole world. This was something that had to be done. It was the civil and passive resistance of me and my party against the usurping of the will of the peoples in the face of unlawfulness. It was a civil and passive resistance, but it was very effective, it had a very strong impact. Everyone saw this. We continued our resistance. We were right. And that is why we were very strong. We knew we would win. They can make unfair decisions about us, but we have shown everyone that we are right."
