URFA - Visiting the Şenyaşar family staging a sit in for the last 37 days in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding 'Justice', HDP Antep MP Mahmut Toğrul said: "This is not justice, this is the law of the superiors.'

 

Mother Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out  by the bodyguards and relatives of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and her son Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack wounded have been staging a sit in in front of the Urfa Court House for the last 37 days. Breaking their fast in front of the Urfa Courthouse yesterday at the first day of the Ramadan, Emine Şenyaşar's daughter Perihan Yüzügüldü joined her brother and her grandmother in front of the courthouse today.

 

Coming to the courthouse early in the morning, the Şenyaşar Family started their sit in despite the hot weather. Displaying the pictures of the assault, Şenyaşar Family is telling the people coming to the courthouse about what they have been through.

 

Visits of solidarity to the Şenyaşar Family continues. Peoples' Democratic Party Antep MP Mahmut Toğrul and HDP Antep Provincial Organizationa nd Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Antep Provincial Organization represantatives visited the Şenyaşar Family. 

 

'WE JUST WANT JUSTICE'

 

Stating that despite she is fasting due to the Ramadan she can't stay at home, Emine Şenyaşar said: "I have to sit here. I hope that they will pity us and release my son from prison since we are in the Ramadan. We broke our firts fast here. They put my son behind bars. I haven't seen him for the last 3 years. They do not punish those who killed our family. Why aren't they just release the footage from the security cameras of the hospital? I refer those who did this injustice to us to God's punishment. Explaining that her brothers and her father was murdered by the bodyguards and relatives of AKP's İbrahim Halil Yıldız, Perihan Yüzügüldü said: "If my brothers that were murdered and my other brother who was put behind bars are really guilty, they can come and take my two other brothers too. My brothers and my father was gruesomely murdered. We just want justice."

 

'LAW OF THE SUPERIOR'

 

HDP Antep MP Mahmut Toğrul who stated that they came to be in solidarity with mother Emine Şenyaşar crying out for justice, underlined that what happened before everybody's eyes was a massacre, and said: "They sperated this massacre into two files. Even though relatives of AKP MP Yıldız carried out their attack before the eyes of their superiors, the prosecutor did not start an investigation. Our claims are backed up by the hospital records. Everything is in there. Even though the proseuctor said 23 people were identified, no law suit was filed against them. This is not justice, this is the law of the superiors. They used their power and influence to cover up the crime. The law of the superiors is obstructing justice."

 

'THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN THIS'

 

Stating that he is hopeful that one day these injustices will end, Toğrul said: "This is the second day of the Ramadan. Mother Şenyaşar broke her fast here yesterday. There is a writing on the wall of the court house that reads 'Justice'. There is no justice here. Mother Şenyaşar is crying out for justice for all these times. We will stand with her through this."
