14-year-old child detained for 'insulting the president'

HAKKARİ - A 14-year-old boy was detained in Şemdinli on grounds of "insulting the President" in his social media post.

Residing in Moda (Bêdare) District of Hakkari's Şemdinli district, 14-year-old S. Taş was detained as part of an investigation carried out by the Isparta Criminal Court of Peace. Taş, who was detained for "insulting the President" in his social media posts, was taken to Hakkari for a "bone age test".
