İZMİR -  Fehime Poyraz, mother of Deniz Poyraz, who was killed in the attack against HDP İzmir Provincial Organization, said, "They put my 3 children in prison, they took my Deniz away from me." Father Abdülilah Poyraz said, "There are thousands just like my daugther to stand against oppression."

 

Mother and father of Deniz Poyraz who was killed by Onur Gencer who was trained in Syria spoke to Mesopotamia Agency (MA).

'WHY DID YOU GIVE BIRTH TO SO MANY CHILDREN'

 

Fehime Poyraz, mother of 9, told when she was detained by the police years ago, the police asked him why she gave birth to so many children and said: "The Turkish state asked this to me 25 years ago. Then they put three of my children in prison. They took my Deniz away from me."

 

SHE'S THE DAUGHTER OF THE PEOPLE OF KURDISTAN

 

Stating that Deniz is the daugter of the people of Kurdistan, Mother Poyraz said: "We stand strong." Being able to see the body of her daugther despite the police blockade, Poyraz said: "I saw my dark eyed baby. They shot her from her head and her chest. I kissed her forehead covered in blood."

 

'SHE IS AMONG OUR MARTYRS NOWS'

 

Stating that Deniz will always be loved by the people, "Poyraz said: "There were thousands of police officers at the Forensic Medicine Institude. They could not do anything when the people came flocking to the building. They are still waiting there. I shouted out back there, I am the mother of those in prison, I am the mother of all our martyrs. Deniz is not only my child but also a party worker. She is among our martyrs now."

 

FATHER POYRAZ: WE OWE TO THE PEOPLE

 

Stating that there are thousands just like her daugther that stand against the oppression, father Abdülilah Poyraz said: "My daughter is no different than those who were killed with chemical weapons. She is no different than the Pakizes of this people. Mehmet Tunç fell martyr. Deniz is no different. We can't give enough for our people. We owe to our people."

 

'MY ONLY WISH IS UNITY'

 

Father Poyraz said: "My only wish is unity. Condolences to the people of Kurdistan, condolences to the HDP. Tayyip and his team would attack whole Kurdistan, Syria, Iraq if he could. He will never be successfull with the struggle of the Kurdish people."
