Police attacked the Saturday Mothers who gather in the Galatasaray Square every saturday to ask the whereabouts of their loved ones who were forced into dissappearance on August 25, 2018. Following the police intervention that took place on the 700th week of the sit in, Galatasaray square was blockaded by the police. The police blockade on the square that has been banned for the Saturday Mothers for the last 160 weeks was removed on September 21.

 

However, at night, the square was once again closed with barriers by the police. Armoured police vehicles were once again borught to the Galatasaray square.
