URFA - 16-year-old Muharrem Aksem in Eyyübiye district of Urfa was found dead in the place where special operations police were performing target practice, with his physical integrity lost and multiple bullets in his body.
16-year-old Muharrem Aksem working as a shepherd in Urfa was found dead. It was stated that the limbs of Aksan who was found in a place where special operation police performs target practice was severed and he had multiple holes in his body which could not learned to be caused by bullets or shrapnels.
Filing a missing persons report when Aksem did not come back home, found the dead body of the boy in the woods where they went searching for him. The body was first taken to the Urfa Forensic Medicine Institude (ATK) and then taken to Mehmet Akif İnan Research Hospital's morgue. While the autopsy report was not given to the family, Aksem will be laid to rest this evening.
The family's lawyer also stated that the preliminary autopsy report has not been prepared yet and has not been given to them.
BODY WAS FOUND IN A PLACE WHERE THE POLICE PERFORMS TARGET PRACTICE
The neighbors of the family whom we reached by phone told that the special operations police were target practicing that day until 18.00 PM. Underlining that the police performs target practice there two days a week, the residents of the neighborhood thinks that the police killed Aksem.
OLD FOOTAGE SHOWS ANOTHER INJURY INCIDENT IN THE SAME PLACE
We obtained a video taken by the shepherds 3 months ago. The video shows that the special operations police are performing target practice at the exact place Aksem lost his life and that ambulances came to the scene as a result of an injury incident. The footage also shows that smoke rises from the scene.
