Intense clashes are taking place during the AKP-KDP's attacks on the Zap, Metina and Avaşîn regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region. It was stated that the soldiers who tried to land with helicopters over the KDP-controlled areas had to retreat. It has been reported that violent clashes took place between the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and HPG members in the areas bombed by warplanes from Diyarbakır 8th Main Jet Base.
According to the statement of the HPG in the Fırat News Agency (ANF) it was noted that the TAF, which could not make any progress despite the intense attacks, had to withdraw as a result of the violent clashes. In the statement, it was stated that the TAF used chemical weapons in Kurojahro, Werxelê, Şehîd Şahin, Kûnîşka and Girê Ortê Resistance areas.
It was also noted that violent clashes continued in the region.
