URFA -  Continuing the Justice Watch in front of the Urfa Courthouse, the Şenyaşar family stated that their struggle is for the independence of the judiciary and said: "We will always continue to fight for this cause."

 

 

The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 446. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.

Continuing the sit-in at their home because the courthouse is closed at the weekend, the family shared the following message from their Twitter account: "We saw this too, the decision of an independent judiciary cannot be fair. Our struggle is for judicial independence. We will always continue to fight for this cause.”
