ISTANBUL - Abdulhamit Orbay, who was imprisoned in Tekirdağ No. 2 Type F Prison, was released at the age of 60 after 30 years.

 

Abdülhamit Orbay, who was imprisoned in Tekirdağ No. 2 Type F Closed Prison, was released after 30 years. Orbay, who was tried at the State Security Court (DGM) in 1992 in Bismil district of Diyarbakır, was sentenced to life imprisonment. Orbay, who was transferred to Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Yozgat, Siirt, İzmir, Siverek, Hilvan, Elazığ and Tekirdağ prisons respectively, was released from prison at the age of 60, where he entered at the age of 30.

 

ORBAY FLEW A WHITE DOVE

 

Orbay was welcomed in front of the prison by his family, friends, and the Marmara Association for Assistance with the Relatives of Prisoners and Convicts (MA TUHAY-DER). Orbay flew a white dove at the exit of the prison.

 

It was learned that Orbay will go to his hometown Diyarbakir this morning.
