ISTANBUL- Stating that the international conspiracy continues with attacks against the "democratic, ecological and libertarian of women" paradigm put forward by Abdullah Öcalan, Besime Konca said: "The struggle of women is the struggle to complete the project of Öcalan."

The international conspiracy, which started with the departure of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan from Syria on October 9, 1998, has left behind in its 24th year.  the Kurds took to the streets wherever they were, and women became the subject of the protests against the handing over of Abdullah Öcalan, who inspired the struggle of the Kurdish Women's Movement with the ideal of free women, which he expressed at every opportunity, to Turkey on February 15, 1999. Abdullah Öcalan, who developed the Liberation Ideology of the Women with a new perspective on March 8, 1998, in order to improve a woman-oriented life, showed all women the way to liberation from the male-dominated system. The "Democratic, Ecological and Women's Libertarian Social Paradigm" developed in prison became the basic ideology of the women's freedom struggle. Politician Besime Konca evaluated the international conspiracy, the aim of the conspiracy and the struggle of the Kurdish people and women against the conspiracy.

‘IT AFFECTED THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST’

Stating that the international conspiracy is a conspiracy against the Kurdish people in the person of Abdullah Öcalan by European and NATO countries, Konca said: "The Kurdish people have been resisting this for 24 years. The Kurdish people and their friends showed an unprecedented resistance. During the conspiracy, dozens of people burned themselves. Kurds protested the international conspiracy with total resistance across Kurdistan and in Europe. The conspiracy did not only affect the Kurdish people. It was the beginning of the war that has been going on in Syria for 12 years. The tragedy in Syria affected the lives of millions of people along with this process. Naturally, this process affected the entire Middle East.”

Pointing out that the "Democratic, Ecological and the libertarian of Women" paradigm developed by Abdullah Öcalan under the conditions of isolation in prison offers a solution to all peoples of the Middle East and the world, Konca said: "The conspiracy and isolation are persistently maintained and women's liberation philosophy. The resistance that has been going on in Iran for about 4 months with the slogan 'jin, jiyan, azadi' is the philosophical light formulated by Abdullah Öcalan."

ROJAVA NULLIFIED THE CONSPIRACY

Pointing to the role of women in the Kurdish people's struggle for self-determination, Konca said: "There has been a serious struggle in every field since Sakine Cansız, one of the first pioneers of the Kurdish Women's Movement. There is a revolutionary process under the leadership of women in Northern and Eastern Syria. Women became the pillar that most failed the conspiracy by establishing a communal, collective, ecological and women's libertarian life against the ISIS mentality in Rojava. Women built this paradigm of freedom by resisting and paying the price. While the whole world remained silent about the tragedy experienced by Yazidi and Kurdish women, women who did not accept this persecution struggled. In this sense, Kurdish women led and are leading the process as both victims, insurgents and organizers.”

THE PROJECT OF ABDULLAH ÖCALAN

Recalling Abdullah Öcalan's assessments on the women's liberation paradigm, Konca said, "Öcalan had an assessment of "my unfinished project" for the women's freedom struggle. There was a call to women to complete this. The struggle of women today is the struggle to complete the 'unfinished life project' of the leadership, and I can say that women are successful here too, and in this sense, one leg of the conspiracy is wasted."

"ÖCALAN IS THE FOUNDER OF THE REVOLUTION"

Expressing that it would be an incomplete definition to refer to Abdullah Öcalan only as the "Kurdish leader", Konca said: "Abdullah Öcalan has come to a point that is defined not as the leadership of the peoples, but as the reborn "sun" of the Middle East. The Rojava Revolution is a revolution that has nullified the isolation and it is a transformation that, as an internationalist leader, made Öcalan a hope for all the peoples of the world. Öcalan is the founder of the ecological women's revolution.

'ÖCALAN MUST BE PHYSICAL FREEDOM'

Emphasizing that the isolation against Abdullah Öcalan is getting deeper and deeper, Konca said: "Nothing has been heard from him for 22 months. Despite the calls of various civil society and rights organizations for Abdullah Öcalan to enjoy his legal rights, no steps were taken. A strong struggle should be waged for the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan. Recently, there have been initiatives by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), the Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) and some institutions. But the opposition needs more ownership. It is important that everyone who supports the democratic solution of the Kurdish question, organized a march to Gemlik, one of the Gever districts of Hakkari and Qoser districts of Mardin, on February 6, in the Justice Watch launched by the HDP in front of the Parliament. Many events were held in Europe. The work of the 'Freedom for Öcalan Initiative', the Kurdish Women's Movement in diplomatic terms, to explain the conspiracy to the people and to nullify it was very valuable, but in order to end the absolute isolation and ensure physical freedom, democratic circles need to embrace this struggle more.”
