MHP deputy is a Serbian citizen

NEWS CENTER – It was revealed that MHP Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal is a Serbian citizen. Uysal, who was stated to have obtained citizenship illegally, had previously come to the fore after he tried to take out a loan of 45 million euros from Switzerland with a fake document.
 
It has been revealed that MHP's Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal, who claims to be local and national and does politics based on homeland, nation and flag, is a Serbian citizen. Levent Uysal, who was elected as Mersin Deputy from MHP in the general elections on May 14, 2023 and entered the Parliament, received citizenship from Serbia in 2020.
 
According to the news in BirGün, MHP member Uysal received citizenship in Serbia, although he has no lineage.
 
It was stated that Uysal have obtained citizenship illegally, also had a residence permit in Dubai.
 
The newspaper received the response from Uysal's advisors, whom they tried to reach to provide the information they had, that "Uysal could not make a statement on the phone, stating that Uysal was on an election trip and his schedule is very busy."
 
COLLECTED THE LANDS ONE BY ONE
 
Uysal, who is also the owner of Nişantaşı University, has been on the agenda in recent months for purchasing public lands one by one. Uysal, who entered the tenders of the General Directorate of Foundations, won the tender for the historical Fildamı Cistern in Bakırköy, which is as old as Hagia Sophia, and the 9-decare land, which is part of the Atatürk City Forest, which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu opened for public use in 2020.
 
TRIED TO GET A LOAN WITH FAKE DOCUMENT
 
It was also revealed that MHP deputy Uysal had prepared a fake document in the name of VakıfBank and tried to get a loan of 45 million euros from Switzerland with this document.
 
On June 17, 2022, Uysal wanted to use a loan of 45 million euros from the financial institution IntaCapital in Switzerland, through Maslak GY real estates investment trusts Incorporated Company, which he owns. The contract was signed. The financial institution requested a deposit of 500 euros and a letter of guarantee. Uysal, who made the deposit, also delivered the letter of guarantee, which he stated that he received from the public bank VakıfBank, to the financial institution. However, IntaCapital contacted Vakıfbank and wanted to confirm the accuracy of the letter of guarantee.
 
On July 29, 2022, VakıfBank stated that the letter of guarantee in question was fake. The bank also announced that a legal process had been initiated regarding the issue.
