AMED - The reaction to the Imralı isolation was great during the magnificent Newroz celebration in Amed. Citizens attending the celebrations demanded that the isolation be abolished for a permanent peace and physical freedom for PKK Leader Ocalan.

Newroz was celebrated in Amed yesterday with the participation of hundreds of thousands of people. Colorful images appeared at the celebrations held in Newroz Park in Rezan (Bağlar) district. Messages were given regarding the solution of the Kurdish issue, the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan and Kurdish national unity. The citizens to whom we held a microphone at the Newroz area emphasized that the demands expressed by the politicians are their own demands.

ANGER IN ISOLATION

Saying that Newroz is the arrival of spring, Saban Karademir said that he came to the area to raise his voice against the isolation imposed on PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Karademir said: "Today, we came to the area to celebrate the Newroz of all Kurdistan. There is an isolation on our leader (Ocalan) and the Kurds. If this isolation is abolished, we hope that peace will come."

Sait Ozer said: "We come together enthusiastically every year on Newroz. We filled the fields today, which is the arrival of spring for the Kurds. We hope that the isolation will be broken and we will be free. We will continue to exist with our own language and culture."

'LET OCALAN GET HIS PHYSICAL FREEDOM'

Saying that Newroz means peace and freedom for all the people in the Middle East, Salih Kuday said: "There is a capital in the hearts of the Kurds, and that is Amed. That is why we are on the field. As you know, there is no news about Mr. Ocalan for 3 years. Neither his family nor his lawyers are allowed to meet. International organizations have a hypocritical attitude. Isolation means massacre for the Kurds, it brings war and tears. Mr. Abdullah Ocalan says, 'Give me a week, I will stop this war in one day.' Let's join hands and break this isolation. Both the status of the Kurds and the unity of the Kurds can be ensured. And let Mr. Ocalan regain his physical freedom. Unless the isolation is abolished, there will be no peace in Turkey, Kurdistan or the Middle East."

'WE WANT PEACE'

Bedriye Acar said: “We want peace, we do not want war. The Kurds will win. The Kurds will break the isolation."
Abdurrahman Polat said: "Newroz is for the freedom of the Kurds. Newroz is the enthusiasm of Kurdistan. Newroz celebrations are areas where the Kurds shout out their existence. With the success we will achieve in the elections this year, we will break the isolation. We also want our friends in prison to be free. We hope that we will bring freedom. ”

Sultan Alcu said: “I hope we will win in these elections. My 3 children are in prison in different cities. I want the isolation in prisons and on Ocalan to end. If the isolation is broken, peace will follow."
Reacting to the Imrali isolation, Jiyan Gül said: "The isolation imposed on our Leader is applied to the language, culture and will of the Kurds. We do not accept the isolation. We express our democratic demand in every field."

'WE WILL RELEASE SEROK APO FROM PRISON'

Fatma Mevlüt said: “Newroz means peace for us. We will release Serok (Leader) Apo from prison. Many of our people and presidents are held in prisons. Even if it rained stones today, we would come and we did. We came for their freedom and to break the isolation. Even if 100 years pass, we will not stop until we win peace. If the isolation is broken and our Leader emerges, peace will come anyway. This will be the success of all of us."

Stating that he attended Newroz from Çewlig's Kanîreş (Karlıova) district, Mustafa Kınay said: "We are very happy to be here. We will break the isolation, we will release our prisoners from the dungeons."

'WE WILL WIN'

Saying that all people came to the areas against the isolation, Derun Akgün said: "If we can break the isolation, everything will be great. Because so many people gathered for this. Finally, we will break the isolation and we will succeed. We believe in this, we will definitely succeed. We all want peace to come."

'WE ARE EXIST AND WE WILL BE'

Şiyar Kishin said: "I came for unity and solidarity. It is our hope for peace to come."

Ersin Doğan, who attended Amed Newroz from Mersin, said: "Newroz means the freedom of all the people of the world for us. If the isolation is broken, people will live freely in every sense."

Heybet Bal said: "We have been in this square for years, we have existed, we will exist. This is our own land, we will fight until the end. If the isolation is broken, we will be free. There was a solution process, but it did not suit some people. They broke the agreement. I hope there will be a solution process again and the isolation is broken.”
