Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) MPs Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan, who met with Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı Type F High Security Closed Prison, shared a briefing note on the meeting.

 

The briefing note reads: "We will not be able to inform the press until the process reaches a certain maturity. This is not in the sense of hiding something, but as requirement of respect for the negotiations we will conduct. But if I need to make a single sentence, W can say that we are much more hopeful compared to previous processes. This is the era of brotherhood and peace. We will make a comprehensive statement as delegation in the new year."
