Turkey games in Damascus

KOBANÊ - It stated that Turkey wants to place ISIS militants from the paramilitary groups in the Ministry of Defence of the interim administration and is imposing impositions on the HTS in order to disperse the SDF in different regions. 

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) has been holding many meetings to gain legitimacy after taking power in Damascus. On the other hand, it was learned that approcimately 8 thousand ISIS militants, who were placed in Syrian National Army (SNA) groups under the guidance of Turkey's National Intelligence Organization (MIT), were seeking legitimacy through the Ministry of Defence of the interim administration. 
 
Following the meeting of MIT Undersecretary Ibrahim Kalın with Colani in Damascus, a joint intelligence room was established between HTS and MIT under the building adjacent to the Turkish Embassy in Damascus, which opened in Damascus after 12 years. And the meeting held in Damascus by Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the AKP-MHP government, headquarters centers were opened in strategic locations belonging to the airport and the Assad regime. It was recorded that MIT personnel were placed in many communication centres, including Syrian telephone lines, for intelligence activities.
 
SEEKING TO LEGITIMISE ISIS
 
According to the information obtained; Turkey sent a new instruction to the Ministry of Defence of the interim administration under the control of HTS on 25 December 2024 via MIT. It is learned that the instruction imposed that approximately 8 thousand ISIS fighters, most of whom were trained in special military camps in Turkish cities, who were previously placed in groups under the umbrella of HTS and SNA, be affiliated to the Ministry of Defence of the Provisional Government in Damascus.
 
The names of the HTS and SNA groups imposed by MIT to be affiliated to the Ministry of Defence and placed among ISIS militants are as follows; "Liwa (Brigade) Ansar al-Sîna, al-Sinai Army, Said Bin Abu Weqas Brigade, Nuredin Zenki Movement, Ehrar al-Sham (both affiliated to Hesen Sofan group and Amir al-Shex group), Feyleq al-Rehman, Jabhet al-Jinubiya Forces, Jaysh al-Iza under the responsibility of Jamil Salih, Jaysh al-Nasir, Jabhet al-Shamiya, Jaysh al-Islam, Feyleq al-Majid, 51st Firqa, Siwar al-Sham, 9th Firqa, Sultan Suleiman Shah Firqa, al-Hemza Firqa, Sultan Mihemed al-Fatah Brigade, 113th Brigade, Jaysh al-Nuxba, Sultan Malik Shah, al-Mutesim Brigade, Jaysh al-Sharqiya, Samarkand Brigade and al-Salam Brigade, under the responsibility of Biwêdani."
 
SDF IMPOSITION
 
On the other hand, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were also asked to insist on their elimination. Due to imposition, it was stated that the interim administration will impose the SDF to be positioned in different regions if it wants to enter the army as a separate force. It was noted that the SDF will not be allowed to take up positions in North and East Syria in case of a possible reorganization of the SDF, and will be forced to deploy in central and southers parts such as Homs and Hama. 
 
SNA: TURKEY IS DECEIVING US
 
It was stated that Turkey used some of the SNA groups affiliated to it in the attacks on Manbij, Tishreen, Qereqozak and Kobanê, while it promised its members in Serêkaniyê, Girê Spi and Jarablus that they could go to their own regions after the fall of the Assad regime, but did not fulfil this promise. It was noted that some of the SNA members who stated that Turkey did not fulfil its promise to them left. It was stated that Turkey sent instructions to all group command levels and gave the initiative to kill anyone who attempted to escape. According to the information received; it is learnt that 325 SNA members have been able to escape from the areas under the control of Turkey, especially Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and 10 people who attempted to escape were killed.
 
It was also stated that in order to appease and appease the Jaysh al-Islam group, which is known as Turkey's opposition to HTS, MIT officials travelled to the Turkish consulate in Aleppo through the Bab al-Hewa Gate and held a meeting with HTS regional officials.
 
JAYSH AL-ISLAM GROUP AGAINST AUTONOMOUS ADMINISTRATION
 
It was stated that in the meeting held under the leadership of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), it was promised that the control of some regions from the Autonomous Administration areas could be given to them in order to pacify the Jaysh al-Islam group and prevent it from causing problems. It was noted that the group will take place in these regions not under its own name but under the name of Redie El Idwan, which is the move name of HTS. These areas start from some points in Aleppo and extend to Deir Hafir, Meskene and Tebqa. According to the information provided by the news source, Jaysh al-Islam group is worried that this may be a game. The group is concerned that they want to be used against the Autonomous Administration.
