Deniz Poyraz, who was murdered during the armed attacks at the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir Provincial Organization building on 17 June 2021, was commemorated at her grave on her 41st birthday. Members of the Free Women Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) and Peoples Equality and Democracy Party (DEM) İzmir Women Assembly, as well as Deniz Poyraz's family, Peace Mothers, Anatolian Association for Assistance and Solidarity with Families Who Lost Their Relatives (ANYAKAYDER), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Aegean Regional Representation and DEM Party executives attended the commemoration. 

 

Mother Fehime Poyraz said: "Deniz, my daughter, look, all the mothers have come here for you. You are the child of all of them, you are not only my child. Happy birthday."

 

Flowers were laid on Deniz Poyraz's grave at the commemoration.
