Gurgin Oktar releases after 30 years

ANTALYA - Gürgin Oktar was released from prison after 30 years of imprisonment.
 
Gürgin Oktar, who was held in Antalya Döşemealtı Type S Closed Prison, was released after 30 years of imprisonment. Sentenced in 1994 to life imprisonment for "disrupting the unity and integrity of the state", Oktar was welcomed by his family and executives of the Association for Assistance to Families of Prisoners and Convicts (TUAYDER) in front of the prison.
 
Gürgin Oktar and his family then set off for his hometown Gimgim (Varto) district of Mûş (Muş).
