THE COMMISSION WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN THE COMING DAYS
Kurtulmuş stated that they discussed the responsibilities of the parliament for "ensuring unity and solidarity and taking Turkey's democratic standards further". Kurtulmuş said, "Fortunately, after the statement from İmralı and the announcement that the organisation will lay down arms, the issue has now reached a point where it can be discussed in the Parliament, which is the centre of politics in Turkey, the centre of national will, the heart of democracy in Turkey. We believe that all political parties should make the best use of this historical opportunity to end this process as soon as possible in a constructive manner and to start a new agenda in Turkey. I hope that the commission to be established within the Parliament in the coming days will be able to work efficiently. We will carry out a meticulous preliminary preparation on how the commission will be formed and with which working methods it will work."
