VAN- 6 people were taken under custody in scope of an operation early in the morning including HDP Van District Co-chair Ümit Dede, DBP District Co-chair Ökkeş Kava and Peace Mothers.
 
6 people were taken under custody in Van in scope of an operation early in the morning including People's Democratic Party (HDP) Van Disctict Co-chair Ümit Dede, Democratic Districts Party (DBP) District Co-chair Ökkeş Kava, HDP District Deputy Handan Karakoyun, HDP Gürpınar District Co-chair Sinem Malal and Peace Mother's councillors Hemi (Xemê) Akdoğan and  Cahide Ölmez.
 
While the reason for detention can not be learned, the 6 people are being held in Van Provincial Security Directorate.
