URFA- After Şırnak and Siirt , 3 thousand 187 voters were shifted to Urfa Halfeti from 23 different cities. The scandal revealed when the voters lists were hung. The fact that the number of the new voters being a little bit above the difference of HDP's votes from AKP's votes in the previous elections drew attention.
The deciet made in Şırnak and Siirt before the local elections is being made in Halfeti as well. With the displaying of the voters lists it turned out the 3 thousand 187 voters are from the law enforcement.
While the number of voters in the county was 22 thousand 735 in June 7 elections, it was 24 thousand 148 in June 24 2018 elections.
The number of voters in the district increased by 413 people in 3 years, the rise of 27 thousand 335 in the 6 months since the June 24 elections, attracted attention.
While 3 thousand 187 voters were moved to the district, it was learned that the applicants who were registered to the district population but wanted to move their residences to the district center were not accepted. One of these citizens is former parliamentarian HDP, Dilek Öcalan.
The officials of the District Population Directorate, which we asked for these directional allegations, confirmed the situation and stated that District Governer Şeref Albayrak, who is also appointed as a trustee to the municipality, is authorized.
Saying that the election marathon started with tricks, HDP Halfeti District Co-Chair, Abdullah Ciftci said that this is was unlawful.
Çiftçi who stated that the government usurps the public will by appointing trustees to the provinces they can not win, said: "They are trying to win the elections by wangling.We will object to these kinds of implementations. Whatever AKP does, the result in Halfeti won't change. We will win the elections and get rid of the trustee policy."
