ANKARA- Norway Red Party Deputy Johan Peter Andersen who came to observe the hearings of HDP Parliamentarians said: "The hunger strike requires extraordinary soul searching process. It's something to do with the struggle for the good and the common good. At this point, the demands must be met."

Norway Red Party Deputy Johan Peter Andersen who came to observe the hearings of People's Democratic Party (HDP) former Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş and Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and HDP Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven, evaluated the oppression against the opposition and the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Andersen who came to Sincan Prison Campus for Demirtaş's hearing but was not allowed to get in criticized the attitude towards foreign committees.Anderson: "This is very complicatied. The process of them deciding who to let in and who to not let in is not clear. For example, the committee coming from sweden was allowed to go in yesterday, while the committees from Denmark and Norway wasn't. I have never seen such a situation."

Andersen who says the process of the hearings reminded him of the book 'The Trial' of Franz Kafka said, :"The main cause of the government of Turkey is no hide what they are doing. They are hiding the judicial process which shifts the country more and more into fascism."

Andersen who mentioned the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan said: "Norway government does not consider PKK as a terrorist organization. Norway government took steps in the direction of the peace process before. Even I stand with the opposition in Norway, we propped up these steps. Turkish government tortures Öcalan. To deprive him from the visits of his attorneys and family is the violation of the most basic human rights."
