7 article declaration from the prisoner: We have decided not to attend the courts

DİYARBAKIR- Prisoners who are continuing their hunger strike demanding the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan to be terminated, published a 7 article declaration. The prisoners announced that they will no longer attend their hearings in the courts until the isolation is terminated.
 
According to the news of Fırat News Agency (ANF), Deniz Kaya who made a statement in the name of all prisoners, reminded their objective with the hunger strike action, and celebrated the Newroz holiday of the prisoners.
 
The prisoners who once again declared their determination, spesicifed their demands: 
 
"1- It is a legitimate right for Öcalan to meet  regularly with his family and guardian under the existing laws and that this right is not to be taken away.
 
2 - Öcalan conducting regular meetings with his attorneys and not being interrupted.
 
3 - Öcalan's right to speak with his family by telephone under the current law to be secured, him sending and recieving letters and faxes etc to be secured and these rights not to be disrupted. 
 
4- Öcalan's right to radios and TV's and to the newspapers and books and etc of his own choosing to be met.
 
5-Öcalan's meeting with his friends in prison to be secured and not to be prevented
 
6 - Ensuring regular treatment conditions by independent delegations to establish the healthy living conditions of Öcalan
 
7 - In order for Öcalan to take an active role in the democratic peaceful solution of the Kurdish problem and the democratization of the Middle East, securing his  free living and working conditions.
 
Prisoners finalized their list of demands with an assurance and a wawning: " If the government meets these demands and maintain its continuity, we will end this hunger strike in the presence of intercessors and observers. Otherwise, our hunger strike will continue as long as the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan does and in a possible death situation AKP- MHP güvernment will be held responsible."
