Kaya who stated that the hunger strike initiated by Leyla Güven demanding the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is continuing with the participation of 7 thousand political prisoners, commemorated Zülküf Gezen, Ayten Beçet, Uğur Şakar, Zehra Sağlam and Medya Çınar who ended their lives protesting the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Kaya said: "With organized thinking and organized emotion, the isolation on our leadership and peoples is broken and fascism is defeated and resistance is crowned with victory.To accomplish the understanding of our leader and internalising the philosohy of freedom we have to resist together. Although our leader finds the sacrificial actions meaningful, his principal attitude towards those actions are known. All our friends in the dungeons act on it.Let's break free from isolation against the genocidal fascist massacrist mentality. We declare that we will continue our resistance until our demands are accepted. Once again, all of our people, people of Turkey and the international public, democratic institutions and organizations should unite and stand together against isolation before anyone else dies."
