DİYARBAKIR- France Left Party members who monitored the election in Dicle and Hazro, stating that the people came to vote despite the oppression of the law enforcement, said: "We will tell that the Erdoğan regime is not democratic when we go back home."

A delegation of 92 people coming from  different parts of Europe on the invitation of People's Democratic Party (HDP) Co chairs Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli, monitored the election process. The obstacles that started with the entry of the European delegation into the country continued on the election day. The members of the French Left Party made observations in the Dicle and Hazro districts of Diyarbakır. Expressing their observations, the delegation said the elections were not democratic.

'WE WERE ATTACKED BY SOLDIARS'

France Left Party Member and Paris Municipal Councilor Delphine Fenasse who monitored the elections in Dicle district, stating that they have witnessed many violations on the day of the election, said their delegation was threatened with deportation on more than one occasion. Fenasse who reminded the fact that they were attacked by the rangers on the day of the election, added :'We were attacked by AKP members as well. The soldiars did not intervene even though we were being attacked.'

Fenasse comparing the election process in Turkey and France, said: "It's incomparable. No military personel or law enforcement can come near the ballot boxes in France. The presiding officer would remove them immediately. They can not dare."

France Left Party National Secretary Clavdio Calfuqvir , stating that the soldiars imposed psychological pressure on the voters, said: "According to international conditions, elections were not carried out under appropriate conditions. But we saw that the people of Kurdistan went to vote anyway. We saw an old woman come to the polls walking for an hour. People showed their persistence in democracy by going to the polls. In return, we have witnessed that security officials voted in more than one ballot box."

Calfuqvir mentioning the trustees, said: "If a party gets 50 percent of the votes, the will of the people must be respected."

France Left Party Member and Montreuil Mayor Riva Gherchanoc said: "We could not enter the schools in many places we went. The police and the military personel were putting people under a lot of pressure. I've never witnessed such a situation before. In France, everyone has to abide by the law. But there is nothing like that in Turkey. "

'PEOPLE DEFENDED DEMOCRACY'

France Left Party Member Tomek Godefroy, who stated that the law enforcement had limitless authority on the polls, said: "People went to the polls anyway, defending democracy. Godefroy added that they will tell Europe how anti democratic the election in Turkey when they go back to their countries.
