Kaplan who stated that the prison guards remove the prisoners from their ward claiming they are conducting a search, said the guards are breaking the Tv's, refrigerators and kitchen utencils. Kaplan said they did not even have a lettle to warm water.
Kaplan's brother who stated that his sibling is on hunger strike since March 1, underlined that the attacks have increased in the prisons after the hunger strike action. Kaplan said: "They don't care about their hunger. They just want this to be discussed and solved as soon as possible. They want the people to be more sensitive about the process. "
Kaplan who adressed the government and the authorities, said that steps must be taken at once to meet the demands. Kaplan applied to Humans' Rights Association Diyarbakır Branch for legal support.
