<strong>ANKARA - </strong>ANAP former MP Abdülbaki Erdoğmuş said that negotiations and dialogue are needed for the solution of the Kurdish problem and said, “We can only achieve honorable peace on a democratic basis. For this, the negotiation method with a third eye should be taken as a basis."</div>

Abdülbaki Erdoğmuş who was an MP in Motherland Party (ANAP) between 1999-2002 made evaluations about the messages of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan to Mesopotamian Agency (MA).</div>

&nbsp;</div>
<div>
Abdulbaki Erdoğmuş who started by mentioning the isolation in İmralı to be removed as a result of the hunger strikes in prison, stated that isolation is not limited with İmralı even though it is against the law.</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
Erdoğmuş who stated that all prisons in Turkey must be auditable in order to prevent the solitary confinement , said:"It is really difficult to determine who is being isolated and how in prisons unless we make the prisons transparent. Many political prisoners are punished with solitary confinement. This is a violation of law. However, it is a system that is generally applicable in Turkey."</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
Erdoğmuş said that an armed struggle has been fought for years because of the failure of the Kurdish problem to be solved and it is desirable to end this struggle, adding that it would be a great mistake to wait for the organization to leave arms unilateral.Underlining the need for negotiation and dialogue for this to happen, Erdoğmuş said, “The armed struggle does not bring positive benefits for the Kurds or the Turks, but there are methods to end it. Honorable peace requires a handshake for the both parties wiithout underestimting their struggle. We can only achieve honorable peace on a democratic basis. For this reason, democratic ground is needed first. For this, the negotiation method with a third eye should be taken as the basis ”</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
According to Erdoğmuş, the reform package announced by the government regarding the judiciary does not make any sense. Emphasizing that the problem is systematic, Erdoğmuş said that any reform that would be made without making the system itself compatible with the judiciary and the law would not give positive results before the problems related to the current system were solved.</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
&nbsp;</div>
<div>
Erdoğmuş said, “Packages are not realistic. Basically, the system needs to be renewed and shaped according to the law. There is a need for judicial reform within the rule of law. Judicial reform is possible only with a serious and independent reform based on the separation of powers. This government has no intention or strength to do so. The public is being stalled. Prisons and streets are full of rights violations. First of all, these violations should be eliminated ”</div>
