DUHOK - İskandar Bradosti, a man from the Bradost who evaluates TSK's cross border operation as an 'occupation', stated that the entrance and exit bans on the villages continues but the people are determined not to leave the area.

The 'Claw Operation' Turkish Armed Forces launched on May 27, continues bombing the 35 square kilometer area around Xakurké including the settlement areas. In the Kortek area where the bombing spread, 28 civilians were killed and 5 civilians were wounded in the same family on June 28, and the reaction of the people of the region to TSK and the silent regional government is growing.

PROHIBITION OF ENTRY-EXIT TO VILLAGES

İskandar Bradostî from the Bradost region informed that the bombing continues in Zaxo, Amediye, Duhok and Kandil.  Bradostî stating that the civil settlements are being targeted, said: " The people of the region have suffered great losses from livestock and cultivation areas. As if this was not enough, Turkish soldiers are trying to deploy to the region. Many zones and villages have been banned from entry and exit. Kanireş, Navmêrgan, Mêrgereş, Alaka, Sîda, Çiyader and Çiyakewt villages in the Bradost region, which has been bombed by many planes, are banned from entry and exit from 21.00 to 10.00 a.m. Because these places have returned to the battlefield of Turkish soldiers and they want to settle here. These settlements were also called Xakurkê highlands, and because the people here had animals, they were going to graze their animals in these pastures. Now, unfortunately, people are afraid of the attacks of Turkish soldiers and unfortunately despite they have repeatedly told the authorities about their problems they have not received a positive response. ”

'KURDS ARE BEING TRAGETED'

Bradostî who stated that the reason fot the TSK attacks to Federated Kurdistan Region is not PKK, it is the Kurdish community, said: "There are no PKK guerillas in many places. TSK attacks the same in those areas as well. We are witnessing it. Everyone knows that there is no PKK here. The reason for the occupation attacks of the Turkish State is to make the Kurdish people migrate from here and occupy the land."

'THE PEOPLE WON'T LEAVE'

Bradostî calling on to the Iraqi government said: " Enough of your silence against these attacks. These attacks need end. Likewise, our call to the regional government; What is the Turkish state doing in these lands? This will never bring benefit to the Kurdish people, it will bring no benefit to the people of Iraq. World human rights organizations, America say 'stop' to these attacks. The people here have been suffering, they continue to suffer, they have no where to be safe. They earn their livelihood through livestock, vineyard and garden planting. The unemployment rate is already at its highest. If the crops and livestock areas are taken away from them, they can't survive. Although these attacks continue and the region wants to be evacuated, these people do not want to leave. Because the only means of subsistence are on this field. They can't do it anywhere else. That's why we need to be sensitive."
