STUDENTS MARCHED TO THE RECTORATE BUILDING
METU students held a press release. After the press release, students marched to the rectorate building with the slogans “Verşan Kök cannot be rector for METU“ and "We will win resisting".
TAŞÇIER: THE CUTTING OFF TREES ENDED
While the wait in front of the rectorate building continue, CHP MP Gamze Taşçıer who addressed the students, said: "I spoke to the rector. They told me they stopped cutting the trees. The people under custody will be released. The municipality officials will seal the construction site."
The students, stating that the cutting off the trees continues,and stressed that they will not leave the rectorate building before the cutting of the trees end. The wait in front of the rectorate building continues.
