NEWS DESK - Saleh Muslim described the recent meeting with Abdullah Ocalan as positive and evaluated his message, saying: " the solution to the problem lies in Imrali, the Turkish state must put solutions and sit at the negotiations table which is considered the basis."
PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's lawyers met with their client on August 7. The Legal Age Office issued a statement on the contents of the meeting.
A spokesman of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Saleh Muslim, talked to (ANHA) about the content of Ocalan's message.
Muslim said that the Turkish state did not allow Öcalan to visit within the framework of the rule of extermination practiced against the Kurdish people. "After 8 years of isolation imposed on the leader proved that they could not separate the people from the leader Ocalan, the Turkish state adopted a diplomatic, military and political war to exterminate the Kurdish people, but it has failed. So the Turkish state is obliged to allow the leader Ocalan to put forward his ideas. The Turkish state is witnessing an internal and external crisis and all doors are closed in its face. The solution is to attack north and east of Syria. During the Turkish-American talks it became clear that they could not make any gains through these policies, and therefore the Turkish state allowed the leader's lawyer to visit him. The visit is positive and valuable, and this is what the Kurdish people want. "
'Dependence on military ways caused loss to Turkish State'
And added Ocalan's message touched upon the history of the Ottoman Empire pointed out that the Turkish state should study its history well. On the role of Ocalan in resolving crises, Muslim said: "The Kurds and the Turks have been still losing since 27 years, since the time of Turgut Ozal so far "If the Turkish state accepted the solution in that period, this war would not last another 27 years. Ozal was bold and had a solution, but the Turkish state killed him, so the leader is asking the Turkish state, is there anybody among them like Turgut Ozal who is leading the stage and can do what we are demanding? The important thing is that Ocalan leader seeks to resolve the issue through dialogue, but it is necessary to admit of the presence the opposite side, the presence of leading the dialogue. Sitting at the table of dialogue is important in order to recognize the existence of the Kurdish people

Muslim also talked about Ocalan's appeal that he could resolve the issue within a week. "It is very clear from the content of the message that the solution lies in Imrali , when Ocalan says, "We demand to live in fraternity with the peoples on this land on the principle of recognizing the Kurdish people." He sends a message that you cannot deny the existence of the Kurdish people. He sends a message that all problems must be resolved through understanding and reconciliation. Now it also seeks to end the uprising in northern and eastern Syria.It is pursuing ways of extermination, whether in Afrin, Kirkuk or anywhere else. The Turkish state is the main enemy of the Kurdish people and all other peoples. The issue of the Kurdish people in any part of Kurdistan cannot be resolved unless the Kurdish people in northern Kurdistan are resolved, and this applies to northern and eastern Syria as well. If Turkey withdraws its hand from northern and eastern Syria and there are no problems, we can resolve our issues democratically and through negotiations with inside Syria and with the Syrian regime. The regime established in northern and eastern Syria is a model for the rest of the Middle East. But the party that does not allow the development of this model and resolve the Syrian crisis in general is the Turkish state. The issues of the Kurdish people are interrelated, and we hope that the Turkish state will come to its senses and be able to respond to Ocalan and resolve the issue through dialogue and negotiations.
