ŞIRNAK - At least 12 people were detained during home raids in Beytüşşebap, including HDP District Co-Chair Şaban Cin.
Numerous houses were raided at dawn in Beytüşşebap, located in Şırnak. People's Democratic Party (HDP) District Co-chair Sabahattin Cin, Mahmut Kılıç, Zerrin Borak, Sekvan Cin, Emin Borak, Seyran Yiğit, Selman Ataman, Recep Ataman, Baver Abi, Cihan Ataman, Cemal Şeker and Naze Durmuş were taen into custody.
The 12 people whose reasons for detention can not be learned, were brought to District Police Department and police stations located in the villages.
According to the information obtained, the number of detentions may increase.
