ANKARA - The imprisoned politicians sent their messages to the congress and wished for success.  While female politicians in Kandira Prison gave the message of "resistance against fascism", İdris Baluken said "No power can end HDP."

While the 4th Ordinary Congress of Peoples' Democratic Party continues in Ankara Sports Hall, the female politicians being held at Kandıra Prison and İdris Baluken being held in Sincan No 1 Type F Prison sent their messages.

The common message of Figen Yüksekdağ, Gültan Kışanak, Sebahat Tuncel, Aysel Tuğluk, Çağlar Demirel, Gülser Yıldırım, Edibe Şahin, Selma Irmak, Nurhayat Altun and other female prisoners who are detained in Kandira Prison are as follows:

“We believe that your congress will raise the hopes, that it will lead to an important way in the struggle of people for equality, freedom, democracy, and increase resistance. As the women in Kandıra we greet you with great moral, enthusiasm and faith and wish you success.

The Kurdish people and their friends are resisting at their homes, out in the streets, in the dungeons against fascism.  We know that if there is resistance somewhere, there is hope. If there is hope there is no place for darkness. Those who drag the country into darkness today are afraid of it. That's why they attack those who struggle for democracy, equality and freedom.

We greet the congress one more time with the belief that the peoples of Turkey will raise the struggle further until we reach the equal, just, democratic and peaceful life that women long for. We wish success to our Co-Chairs, PM members to be elected at the congress.

BALUKEN: LOVE FOR FREEDOM CONTINUES

"Respected Council,

Our valued party members,

Our people whom we are honoured to be their children

Dear guests and free press workers participating in our congress with solidarity, we share the excitement of meeting with you on the occasion of the 4th Ordinary Grand Congress of our Party. We greet you all with great morale and enthusiasm.

We believe that our Congress will contribute greatly to our struggle for peace, freedom and democracy.

Even if there are those who want to build walls between us, they are the ones who build walls for their future. Those who trust the darkness of their persecution are those who are ignorant of the glory of the bright and beautiful days.

On this occasion; With the belief that we will meet in peace events, we once again wish that our congress will contribute to the struggle of all the oppressed and the marginalized, and we wish all our new friends, comrades, who will take new positions.

Long live our struggle for peace, democracy and freedom,

Bijî Biratiya Gelan ”
