Özdemir extradited to Turkey from Sweden taken to Silivri Prison

İSTANBUL - Resul Özdemir who was extradited to Turkey from Sweden was sent to Silivri No 9 Type F Prison.

 
Resul Özdemir, who was injured during the curfew in Cizre district of Şırnak between 2015- 2016 and appealed to Sweden for political asylum, was extradited to Turkey by Sweden officials. It was learned that Özdemir who was interrogated in İstanbul Security Directorate Anti Terror Branch, was sent to Silivri No 9 Type F Closed Prison.
 
Özdemir's attorney who went to the prison to his client, was not allowed to see his client due to the coronavirus curfew.
 
Pro-government media serviced some news about Özdemir, claiming that he was the Cizre manager of Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) and that his code name was "Zibo".
