ŞIRNAK - Calling for unity against the attacks on the Kurds, women from the Faraşîn Plateau said, "Kurds need to fight shoulder to shoulder against the invasion and betrayal and be united."

Turkey's KDP-backed attacks against Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region continue. It was stated that Turkey, which could not advance despite the attacks from both air and land, used chemical weapons at many points. While Turkey's attacks negatively affect the lives of those living on the border line, they also bring ecological destruction. Women in the Faraşin Plateau of Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak, who suffered their share from the attacks against the border, also reacted to the attacks that negatively affected their lives.

THE REFLECTION OF THE ATTACKS ON THE HIGHLANDS

Ayşe Ataman, one of the coaches, stated that the military operations had a negative impact on their lives and said that they faced difficulties in the highlands, which is a part of their lives. Expressing that the highlands are under siege and they could not go to the highlands to make a living, Ataman said, “We paid a great price and we continue to do so. We are not afraid of anyone. This cruelty must end now. The Kurds need to be united to do that. This is the only way to establish peace.”

Stating that they constantly need to change places to graze their animals, Hayat Aykut said: "We went to Marinos and Faraşin regions this year. We will go to Mêrgê Sotî in June. We are having a hard time feeding our families. We feel the effects of the war, we live the effects of the war. We are under attack from all sides."

'TOGETHER AGAINST ATTACKS'

Hanım Ataman called for the Kurds to unite against the attacks and said, “Mothers have suffered greatly. The Kurds need to fight shoulder to shoulder against the occupation and betrayal and be united. Only in this way can we stop chemical weapons attacks."

'DON'T BE SCARED OF THE KURDS'

Stating that all forces are united in hostility towards Kurds, Ataman said, “We want this war to end. When the Kurds are attacked, everyone remains silent. They are afraid of the Kurds. Do not be afraid of the Kurds, they will bring peace and tranquility to these lands."
