Emine Şenyaşar: I will not leave here until I get justice

URFA - Demanding justice with a sit-in for the last 458 days, Emine Şenyaşar told that she will continue the sit-in despite her health issues until she gets justice.
 
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 458. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. The family that comes from their house in Suruç, 42 kilometers away from the Urfa Courthouse, started the sit-in for the day.
 
Continuing the sit-in despite her health issues, Emine Şenyaşar said: "We have been staging a sit-in here for the last 458 days. My son Fadıl is held in a cell alone for 4 years. We want justice for everyone. I will not leave here until I get justice. We have two demands. The people who murdered my family to be arrested and my son to be released. Our demands are not met. I will come here until my demands are met." 
 
Tagging the Twitter accounts of artists Müjdat Gezen, Nihal Yalçın, Aynur Doğan and Türkan Elçi, wife of former Diyarbakır Bar Association President Tahir Elçi who was murdered as a result of an armed attack in 2015, the family shared the following from their Twitter account: "The struggle for justice of a mother that comes to mind when you think of justice in Turkey continues at the Urfa Courthouse on its 458th day."
