Journalist still detained on day 7

DİYARBAKIR - 22 people, 20 of whom are journalists, are held under detention for the 7th day today.
 
22 people, 20 of whom are journalists who were detained with raids on their homes on June 8 in Diyarbakır are still held in the Provincial Security Directorate. There is still a restriction decision on the file. Neither the lawyers nor the journalists know why they are detained. It is not known when the statements of the journalists will be taken. The detention period of the journalists was extended until June 16. It was stated that the basic needs of the journalists who are held in cells alone are not met. 
  
POLICE BLOCKADE CONTINUES 
 
The agencies and production companies where the journalists work were also raided, and many cameras, computers and digital materials were seized during the raids. Police continues to wait in front of  the buildings of Piya and Ari production companies.

The names of the detainees, including 20 journalists are as follows: DFG Co-chair Serdar Altan, Xwebûn Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Ali Ertaş, JINNEWS Director Safiye Alagaş, JINNEWS editor Gülşen Koçuk, Mesopotamia Agency (MA) editor Aziz Oruç, journalists Ömer Çelik, Suat Doğuhan , Ramazan Geciken, Esmer Tunç, Neşe Toprak, Zeynel Abidin Bulut, Mazlum Doğan Güler, Mehmet Şahin, Elif Üngür, İbrahim Koyuncu, Remziye Temel, Mehmet Yalçın, Abdurrahman Öncü, Lezgin Akdeniz and Kadir Bayram and citizens Feynaz Koçuk and İhsan Ergülen .
