Call to the 'March for Freedom': We will end the isolation regime

ISTANBUL - HDK, HDP and MKM called for participation in the mass march that will be held with the slogan "We are marching to Freedom" on the anniversary of the international conspiracy against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
 
The international conspiracy, which started with the partnership of global powers when PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan left Syria on October 9, 1998, will be protested in many cities with marches on its 24th anniversary. Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK), Free Women's Movement (TJA), Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Association for Assistance and Solidarity with the Lost Relatives of Anatolia (ANYAKAY-DER), Marmara with the Families of Prisoners and Convicts At the call of the Solidarity Association (MATUHAY-DER), Democratic Alevi Associations (DAD), Association for Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD), Mesopotamia Cultural Center (MKM) and Kurdish Studies Association (Enstîtûya Kurdî), on October 9, with the slogan "We are marching to freedom" A mass march will be held in Kadıköy.
 
HDK Istanbul Co-spokesperson Erkan Tepeli, HDP Istanbul Provincial Co-chair Ferhat Encu and MKM trainer Engin Cengiz made evaluations on the goals and preparations of the mass march and called for participation.
 
ISOLATION REGIME
 
Underlining that an isolation regime has been built in Turkey over the international conspiracy, Tepeli said:"This is not accepted by the society. October 9 will be an important day in terms of ending the isolation regime, which the state has difficulty in maintaining and the society does not accept in this form. Persistence in this march will be important both in terms of ending the isolation and enabling Mr. Öcalan to reach the conditions that can convey his ideas to the whole society.”
 
INVITATION TO THE MARCH
 
Referring to the aims of the march, Encu said: “We want that the freedom of the Kurdish people, whose rights, language and land have been denied for centuries and who have been struggling with these policies of destruction and denial, must end the isolation on Mr. Öcalan. We aim to free all political and ill prisoners in the person of the Kurdish people and to solve the problems with this march. we invite everyone to our march.”
