Mass farewell ceremony for the murdered in Paris

NEWS CENTER - Emine Kara, Mir Perwer and Abdurrahman Kızıl, who were murdered in Paris, are being sent off with the participation of thousands of people.

A mass farewell ceremony is being held for KCK Executive Council member Emine Kara (Evîn Goyi), Mîr Perwer (Mehmet Şirin Aydın) and Abdurrahman Kızıl from the Culture movement, who were killed in the armed attack on December 23 in Paris, the capital of France. In addition to French politicians, thousands of people from many countries attended the ceremony held in the Palace de Villiers hall under the leadership of the European Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-E) and the European Kurdistan Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E). While the hall is filling up, thousands of people continue to wait outside the hall.

EVIN GOYI'S BODY WAS SHOULDERED BY WOMEN

The farewell ceremony started with a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom and democracy. During the ceremony, photographs of Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez, and PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who were murdered in Paris in 2013, were carried, as well as photographs of the murdered. The crowd frequently chanted slogans such as "Martyr can not be died", "jin, jiyan, azadi" and "Long live Öcalan". Mir Perwer's body was shouldered by artists, Evin Goyi's body was shouldered by women.

'WE WILL NOT KNEW'

Describing the struggle of the families and relatives of the murdered, they gave the message, "We will not kneel or bow down no matter how much they massacred us. My condolences to the Kurdish people. We will protect their memories with our struggle. This march is an honorable march. We have been resisting these attacks for years. They are immortal."

TJK-E member Besime Konca called for the massacre to be clarified. Konca said: "We know this enemy who murdered Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan, Leyla Şaylemez, Jiyan Tolhıldan, Evin Goyi, Hevrin Xelef, Garibe Gezer, Nagihan Akersel, Deniz Poyraz and Jina Emini. We promise once again that one of the murderers of women. We will hold to account by building confederalism. We will expand the alliance of 'jin jiyan azadi', which is rising all over the world."

BODIES WILL BE SENT

After the ceremony, Emine Kara's funeral will be sent to Makhmur, Abdurahman Kızıl's body will be sent to Qers, and Mir Perwer's body will be sent to Muş by air. The bodies will be buried in mass in the places where they were sent.
