ANTALYA - Journalist Dilan Akyol, who was taken into custody, was released by the prosecutor's office.
 
Mezopotamya Agency reporter Dilan Akyol was detained by the police while she was leaving her house in Antalya's Muratpaşa district. Akyol, who was transferred to Antalya Courthouse after his procedures at the police station and detained as part of the investigation initiated by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is a member of the United Freedom Forces (BÖG), who died in 2016 while fighting against ISIS, in the Provincial Security Directorate TEM Branch. His statement was taken with the allegation of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization", citing the news she made about Ataş and YJA Star member Gurbet Oran (Zinarin Cudi).
 
When Akyol was asked about the news she made about Ataş and Oran, she was charged with "making propaganda for a terrorist organization". Akyol denied the accusations against her.
 
Akyol, who was brought to the prosecutor's office, gave a statement. Akyol was released after the prosecution proceedings.
