NEWS CENTER - The pro-government media started to provide "breaking news" information everyday about the deaths of People's Defense Forces (Hêzên Parastina Gel-HPG) members, who were previously announced to have lost their lives.
 
Media organizations known for their closeness to the AKP have recently begun to report the deaths of HPG members, who were previously reported to have lost their lives, as "breaking news" information. It was noteworthy that "breaking news" news began to be served after the increase in soldier losses in the conflicts that intensified especially in the Zap, Avaşîn, Xakûrkê and Metina regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region.
 
DECEMBER 25: ERDİNÇ BOLCAL
 
The pro-government media reported the death of HPG member Erdinç Bolcal’s (Ali Xebat Botan) as "breaking news" on December 25 and claimed that MİT had targeted Bolcal with a "point operation" in Silêmaniyê. It was also claimed that it was determined that Bolcal was preparing for an action in Kirkuk. However, Bolcal's death was previously reported in the press.
 
In the HPG statement published in Fırat News Agency (ANF) on December 15, it was announced that HPG member Erdinç Bolcal (Ali Xebat Botan) had lost his life. HPG noted that its member Bolcal lost his life in the "Media Defense Areas" on March 10.
 
DECEMBER 26: ŞEFA AKMAN
 
The pro-government media, especially Anadolu Agency (AA), presented the claim that HPG member Mehmet Şefa Akman was targeted with a "point operation" on December 26 as "breaking news" information. It was claimed in the news that Akman was one of those responsible for Silêmaniyê.
 
However, it was revealed that the information that Akman passed away was announced on December 11, 2021. In the HPG statement dated December 11, 2021 in ANF, it was noted that Akman (Bahoz Zagros) died on June 9, 2021.
 
DECEMBER 29: AL DAHHAM
 
On December 29, it was served as "breaking news" information that Omer Mihemed Ebdullah El Dahham was targeted by MİT in Northern and Eastern Syria. However, it was announced that Dahham lost his life in an ISIS attack in August.
 
Democratic Syrian Forces (QSD) made a statement on the issue on its official website on December 30. In the statement made by SDF, it was said that Dahham lost his life in the attack of ISIS on August 5. 
 
In the statement, "Official media organs of the Turkish state reported yesterday morning that MİT killed a citizen named Omer Mihemed Ebdullah El Daham from Tebqa. Turkish intelligence claimed that the citizen in question was associated with our forces and committed the actions against Turkish soldiers. However, ISIS announced on August 5, through its official agency Amaq, that they had killed El Daham. Four months later, Turkish intelligence published a new news and announced that they carried out the attack."
 
At the end of the statement, it was also stated that Dahham had no relation with the SDF. SDF also shared photos and news of the statements made about the killing of Dahham with the public.
 
JANUARY 2: ABDULMUTALIP DOĞRUCU
 
The pro-government media served the news about HPG's Abdulmutalip Doğrucu (Cesur Vedat Welat) as "breaking news" on January 2. It was revealed that the information that Doğrucu died on March 10, 2023 was announced by HPG on December 15, 2023.
 
JANUARY 4: ŞÊX EHMED
 
It was reported as "breaking news" that MİT targeted Rojhilatê Kurdistan Defense Units (YRK) member Sadiq Şêx Ehmed (Êrîş Berxwedan) in Silêmaniyê. In the news, which apparently came from the same source, it was claimed that it was determined that Şêx Ehmed was making action plans against Turkey.
 
However, it was revealed that it was previously announced that Şêx Ehmed lost his life in the air attack on the Pêncewîn region on December 3, 2023.
 
In the news published in ANF on December 24, 2023; It was stated that along with Şêx Ehmed, Women's Defense Forces (Hêzên Parastina Jinê-HPJ) commander Zeyneb Êwerî (Aryen Arê) also lost her life in the air attack.
