RIHA - The Democratic Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria called on the people and institutions for "self-defense" against Turkey's attacks on the region. The statement stated: "Our people's project, will and determination are the way to success and the defeat of all genocide projects."

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria made a written statement regarding Turkey's attacks targeting the region following the loss of soldiers in the violent clashes in the Zap area of the Federated Kurdistan Region yesterday.

In the statement, it was shared that Turkey, which is stated to continue to commit crimes by targeting service centers and infrastructure in Northern and Eastern Syria, bombed Tirbespiyê, Rimêlan, Derik and Çilaxa regions last night.
The following was noted in the continuation of the statement:

“The aim of these attacks is to undermine the security of the region, pose a real threat to counter-terrorism efforts and prevent the resolution of the current conditions in the region. The attack is a continuation of the line of genocide, displacement of residents and evacuation of the region. This is a dirty game, warnings must be made against it and its dangers. We declare that these attacks on our lands must be stopped. We state that the consequences of the attacks are a threat to the entire region and an unpaid service to the return of terrorism, as well as an attempt to fuel ethnic conflicts that Turkey has not been able to resolve to date. Turkey clearly wants to do its plans for our people by taking advantage of the events taking place in the region. Turkey also wants to deceive the Turkish people and distract them from their failures.

CALL TO DEMOCRATIC INSTITUTIONS

We call on all active forces in Syria to recognize the danger posed by these illegal attacks and their negative consequences for efforts to stabilize the region. In addition, these attacks pose a threat to social organization and democratic solution-finding efforts in our regions, as well as efforts to eradicate terrorism and extremism. In order to prevent these attacks, legal and humanitarian organizations must fulfill their duties and fulfill their responsibilities. We stand with the people against attacks and hostile policies against the region. We call on you to protect our institutions, our defense and our self-defense. Fulfill your duties for the unity of democratic nations and peoples, and for the protection and success of the common life project. The project, will and determination of our people are the way to success and the defeat of all genocide projects."
