'DEATH THREAT'

The family of Lokman Sevkan Ozğan, who is among detainees, said that they were beaten and threatened by the police. Ozğan's father, Ethem Ozğan, explained what happened during the house raid as follows: "The police broke down our door at 06:00 am and entered the house by force. As soon as they entered the house, they laid us all on the ground and put a gun to our heads. They hurled insults and curses. They threatened us with death. They said to us, 'What are you doing here? If we come again, we will come to shoot you.' Then they took our child away.”

Baba Ozğan said: “They made a report and forced us to sign it as if nothing had happened. They forced us to take a video and tell us that there was nothing here. This is a fascistic approach, a hostile approach. They accused us of treason and insulted us."
